The vibrant diamonds and triangles traveling the length of this soft wool textile evoke movement and read like symbols noting types of weather, signs which a traveler might encounter. The original wool textile that inspired this symbol rich fabric was made in 1980 by Tamang artisan of Nepal. The Tamang are one of the indigenous inhabitants of mountainous Nepal who have their own distinct culture, language and religion.
